Just a simple woman, writing to heal and and to share the experiences of my life.  I enjoy writing, reading, embroidery & quilting.  The name silentwriter180 comes from the fact that I like to write, much of which is kept within, hence the ‘silent’. The ‘180’ comes from the fact that when I get frustrated with my work, I will turn a 180 and write a short erotic story. Once that is finished, I am able to go back to my other project. I know, I know…but it works.

  1. Hey STRANGER! I’m so glad to see you blogging! I just realized you had a blog when you commented on one of my posts… I will SO follow your blog! Welcome. How’s the guitar playing coming along? (playing like a fiend here!) I have TOO many songs to write. 🙂

    • Hi Honey, I’m still a bit new to this blog page, so I didn’t realize I needed to approve all comments. lol All is good. I’ve been playing a little bit, getting used to it again. Although it’s sometimes hard to play without breaking down into tears and feeling like just giving up. *sigh* I know I’ll feel good about it again, I just need to give myself the time. Hugs.

      • Just keep playing. It will get easier… I know you have some tough memories to battle. It will all be ok though. 🙂

      • I couldn’t imagine a day where I don’t have music in my life. Whether it is LISTENING to it, PLAYING it, or WRITING it. When I have all 3 in a given day, I’m truly a lucky man.

  2. So you decided to join the small clan of Uncle Spike followers, sometimes known as The Spikey’s…. That makes me a happy blogger now – I really appreciate you making that special mouse click.

Hope you like my upcoming posts and if you get bored one day, maybe you’ll enjoy trawling through some of my older stuff too.

If you have any likes, dislikes or suggestions about my blog, just let me know, either through ‘comments’ or via email. Always welcome reader input 🙂

    Have a great old day…

    • Thank you Uncle Spike. I have already glanced through your page, and saw a what I thought to be a good hometown atmosphere, that I’d love to visit again when I need a break from my own thoughts or the main grind of my day. I look forward to seeing you more. SW180

      • Glad you had a peek, and that it is in your zone (think that’s correct young folk speak, lol). I try to keep it real and authentic, varied and not ‘too heavy’. Thanks for writing, much appreciated.
